Human Rights – Cameroon’s Review Report Presented

[Cameroon Tribune]Civil society activists alongside officials of different ministries in the country converged at the Ministry of Justice in Yaounde yesterday, January 8, 2013 to validate Cameroon’s Universal Periodic Review Report for the United Nations Human Rights Council. The Universal Periodic Review (UPR) of Cameroon that was conducted between 2008 and 2012 is a mechanism through which the UN Human Rights Council reviews the human rights records of all UN Member States on an ongoing basis.
