Buruli ulcer: New prospects for treatment

A group of Cameroonian, Swiss and German researchers led by Professor Thomas Junghanss has demonstrated that exposing the causative pathogen, Mycobacterium ulcerans growing  best at 30°C–33°C to higher temperature (above 37°C ) can inhibit its evolution and provide complete cure to patients.
