[Cameroon Tribune] The third edition of the African draught championship took place in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire from July 25th to August 3rd with Cameroon emerging champion. Team Cameroon made up of world vice champion, Jean Marc Ndjofang, Leopold Kouogueu and Mbongo Thomy Lucien beat the Senegalese team in the final, 4-2 to win the trophy that was coveted by seven other countries; Guinea, Senegal, Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger, Mauritania, and host Côte d’Ivoire.
