Yaounde Missing Girl Was Father’s Rape Victim

[Cameroon Tribune]Marie M. 14, a student of Sixième (Form 1) in the Government High School Mendong, Yaounde neighbourhood, is allegedly missing. Sources at the Gendarmerie Brigade in Mendong say Marie M. has been a victim of rape by her father, Emmanuel M, 44, for the past three years. According to the reports, Marie’s mother died six years ago and the father allegedly replaced her with his wife.
